Technology nowadays is highly considered as part of our daily lives. Why is that so? It is because in our generation right now we consider it as one way of transmitting and accessing of quick information from one place to another and through technology... It help us, individuals, to develop better understanding as well as to become more progressive in our own beloved country PHILIPPINES!
New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Hongkong are the countries that we considered as progressive in terms in Information and Communication Technology ( ICT).... right? In my side, they become more successful in the field of ICT , because they have the courage to invest money just to buy exact computers in a particular school, not just only that, they are well-planned in all the decisions that they tend to plan, they will find ways to educate individuals even in remote areas just to educate and impart learning to all individuals especially the students in a particular school who wanted to learn and discover the relevance of technology as one way of communicating people.
In UNESCO website, you can read all the detailed information why this five countries become progressive..In that case, we can get some ideas in order for our counrty as well as our selves become more progressive and successful in the field of ICT.
I highly believe that we can achieve progress in terms of Information and Communication Technology If we will do our part as a citizen..... just like the following:
* Government Officials - The government should do their duties honestly and they should serve their people faithfully. For instance... they can/ will provide enough budget for Education etc, so that we can indulged in new technologies to enhance better learning! Not just budget but also policies and strategies that every individuals could get benefit as well.
* We Individuals( Students, etc.) - As an individual we should develop good " Ethics",. I highly believe that we Filipinos are talented and gifted enough to compete in different kinds of activities, in or even out of the country. W e should exercised it! Neglect/ subtract the attitude of being LAZY and add all the HARD WORK and DETERMINATION in life....
As a whole If the Government Officials and all individuals in the Philippines will cooperate, and support each other rights and decisions... there is a big possibility that our country will be come advance and active to come up policies and strategies in ICT or we might not know that soon we can be part of the most Progressive Countries in Asia Pacific Region in " Information and Communication Technology"!
